लाखों हैं सितारें आसमान में मगर 

'डी' बस एक चाँद की चाहत है सबको 

Innumerable stars are there on the sky but...
'd' everyone aspires for one moon only

झिलमिलाते तारें करती हैं आकर्षित सबको
मिल भी जायें चाँद तो क्या है 'डी'...

दर्द

दर्द, साथ छूट जाने पर जो होता है 

वो सिर्फ दर्द बर्दास्त करनेवाला ही जानता है 

हर कोई इस दर्द से वाकिफ़ है मगर 

हर दर्द का अंजाम मगर अनोखा होता है 

चले जातें हैं ‘डी’ जानेवाले मगर 

रहनेवालों का गुज़र कहाँ होता है

न समझ सकेगी ये दुनियाँ कभी इन आँसूंओ को 

हैं ये आँसू मेरे अपने, है दर्द भी मेरा ये अपना 'डी'

चाहत है तन्हाई की, वो भी मिलता नहीं है आजकल 

तन्हाई तन्हाई भी तो नहीं, आँसूं जो साथ है अब 'डी'

ये दर्द-ऐ-दिल की नहीं है दास्तान ऐ दुनियाँवालों

हकीकत देखकर रोता है मेरा ये असहाय दिल 'डी'
